about me

My name is Paolo, I'm a UX/UI Designer and illustrator.
Since 1993 I've been using probably any painting/illustration software ever produced: from Fauve Matisse to Painter, Picture Publisher, Photoshop, xRes... Exploring some "outsiders" too as ArtRage, Artweaver, SAI, Krita and more.

Why Manga Studio

Manga Studio (Clip Studio Paint) has one of the best brush engines: blazing fast, rock solid, customizable.
Works seamless with any graphic tablet, in both Apple/MS environments and offers an easy and unobtrusive UI.

It is my "workhorse" choice for illustrations and sketching. Starting from its ancestor IllustStudio I've designed lots of tools which now are the basis of Daub Brushes.

User experience comes first

My tools are designed side by side with traditional media artists, digital professionals and common users too, to give the most natural response and to be funny to use, balancing responsiveness and quality.
